Central Air & Mini Split/Heat Pump Maintenance Plan

Keeping your house cool and your air conditioning system running at peak efficiency throughout the summer is our goal. Our Central Air & Mini Split/Heat Pump Maintenance Plan is designed to give our customers what they want most – peace of mind knowing your air conditioning will run efficiently all season long.


Our Maintenance Plan Includes:

  • Provide you with a 15 point system tune-up that will reduce the likelihood that your equipment will malfunction during the hottest days of summer.
  • Valuable, convenient priority service.
  • A 15% discount on service work (excluding installations).
  • An extended lifespan of your cooling system.

Our 15 Point Tune-Up Includes the Following Steps:

  1. Check refrigerant charge and measure operating pressures and temperature. (refrigerant not included)
  2. Test compressor operating voltage and amperage.
  3. Lubricate and check motors.
  4. Clean or replace standard 1 inch filters (as necessary).
  5. Inspect and adjust fan belts.
  6. Flush condensate drain.
  7. Check electrical connections.
  8. Check thermostat operation.
  9. Check controls and safety switches.
  10. Inspect evaporator coil (if accessible).
  11. Check blower wheel and bearings.
  12. Test pressure cutout switches.
  13. Inspect condenser coil.
  14. Check condenser blade.
  15. Check condenser electrical disconnect switch.

Terms and Conditions:

  1. This Plan is agreed upon between the Customer and Hirsch Fuels, Inc., herein referred to as "the Company".
  2. This Plan becomes null and void should anyone other than the Company provide service to equipment throughout the term of the Plan unless otherwise specifically instructed to do so by the Company.
  3. This Plan is offered to all customers; however, enrollment into the Plan remains subject to an inspection if deemed necessary by the Company. If, upon inspection, customer’s equipment is found to be unacceptable, unsafe, or obsolete for repair, customer’s agreement coverage will be cancelled. Repairs required to achieve acceptable enrollment status with the Company are billed separately, outside the terms of the Plan.
  4. This Plan goes into effect following payment of the Plan invoice and approval for the Plan by a Company service professional, as required above. The Plan is in effect for a 12 month period and automatically renews on the first business day of the month in which the Plan is due to expire. The Plan is non-refundable and subject to change. The Plan can be cancelled by any of the following methods: certified mail sent to the Company address provided on the agreement, via email to a Company representative, or via fax to the Company fax number (631-234-6445).
  5. Service Hours: Normal business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.. Service requested and provided at times other than during "normal business hours" will be quoted and invoiced at the Company’s standard night, weekend, and holiday rates, respectively. Plan enrollees receive the Plan benefits and discounts based on respective repair rates.
  6. Priority Service is defined as first available service and will be billed at prevailing rates dependent upon the Maintenance Plan chosen by the customer. Service will be performed as promptly as possible under normal conditions; however, we do not assume responsibility for secondary damages or damage resulting from delays or failure to render service due to conditions beyond our control.
  7. Only Emergency Service will be performed outside of normal business hours and will be billed at prevailing rates dependent upon the Maintenance Plan chosen by the customer. Emergency Service shall be defined as an unsafe condition to a person or damage to a residential property as a result of no air conditioning. The Company may decline request to perform non-emergency service work outside of normal business hours.
  8. The Company shall not be responsible for the repair or replacement of unavailable or obsolete parts nor for equipment no longer manufactured.
  9. The Company shall be liable solely for repairs to the covered equipment, as detailed above. Under no circumstances shall the Company be liable for an consequential or resultant damages or injury (including death) to persons or property for damages resulting from defective equipment: for damage resulting from operation or non-operation of said equipment: for delays in performing service; for making repairs or installations of parts: because of strikes, accidents, explosions, or shortages; or due to other conditions beyond the control of the Company.
  10. The 15% discount on service is not valid toward new equipment installation.
  11. Customers will receive a $25 "bundled discount" for being on both a heating plan and air conditioning plan with the Company.
